Required: As Soon As Possible

Voluntary Role – Unremunerated

Bridge Academy Trust is a relatively new Multi-Academy Trust with schools in Chelmsford and Ongar. The Trust is committed to ensuring that every child who attends a school within the Trust has a high-quality experience.

Bridge Academy Trust has an experienced central team in place with a strong board behind it. We seek to appoint a new Trustee with the necessary time, commitment, skills and expertise to contribute to the Trust’s strategic focus and direction. Our purpose is to ensure that the best interests of our pupils and local communities are top of the agenda, whilst delivering the highest standards of educational provision across all of the schools within the Trust.

The role will involve attending around 6 Trust board meetings per year, some committee/local governing body meetings and occasional contributions to work outside of those meetings. Most meetings are held in the evening.

You will need:

 Commitment to the purpose, objectives and values of the Trust

Experience of working strategically assimilating and analysing information quickly in order to debate complex issues and provide supportive challenge

This is an exciting time to become involved in the continuing development of our Trust.

Closing date: 9am, 3rd May 2019
