READING AT HOME:

  1. Please ensure you have a reading book that you enjoy reading
  2. Ensure you are reading daily for 10-15minutes.
  3. In your reading record, can you write down five different adjectives that you have found in your reading book?
  4. Remember to get your reading records signed so you can earn certificates!

HISTORY and MATHS Tasks:

October is Black History Month, so this week we will look at some famous black people in history and in modern day. We would like your child to make a fact file or poster about an inspiration black role model. We are hoping to offer well done notes for exceptional effort and will display the work in class.

At Mildmay, we use a maths website called MyMaths. Activities set are to consolidate knowledge taught so far, or to review topics learnt in previous years as pre-teaching for our next topic. We will be sending a MyMaths log-in home this week (after we have shown the children how to log-in) and have set a couple of maths tasks for your child to try. We hope they enjoy it. There are lots of games and booster sessions that they can do too if they want to.

Thank you.
