READING AT HOME:

  1. Please ensure you have a reading book that you enjoy reading
  2. Ensure you are reading daily for 10-15minutes.
  3. In your reading record, can you write down five different adjectives that you have found in your reading book?
  4. Remember to get your reading records signed so you can earn certificates!

Maths and Science Task:

We have all been learning about money in the last few weeks and, now that money is barely used, we have found that we needed a lot more practise. So we have set the year1, 2 and 3 money tasks for MyMaths and would love it if you could play shops or go to the shops and ask children to pay with actual money.

In science, we have been learning about forces and magnets and would like the children to create a magnet game. Could they make the game and bring it into school on Tuesday 19th April and we will try to play them during the week. We will obviously provide the magnets. This has been a great success in the past and we have seen some amazing quizzes (fish for answer), mazes, fishing games and even magnetic scrabble where you have to fish for the word to spell it correctly. What can your child invent this year?

Please also try to play some Garage games in TTRockstars to keep practising those times tables.

Thank you for your continued support and HAPPY EASTER!!
