DRAGON SIGHTING REPORTED ON SCHOOL FIELD!
Today class 4S became dragon hunters/investigative journalists - acting on reports from local residents and expert dragonologists, we carefully went on to the field, where the dragon had reportedly landed in the early hours, and searched for evidence.
see photo below.
We are now going to interview potential eye-witnesses and experts to write a newspaper report on this very exciting event...we'll keep you posted!!

This week we have had lots of fun working with fizzing, exploding drinks in science! The pupils loved doing this experiment and we now know that a gas can be weighed! We have also enjoyed lots of outdoor learning; pretending we are particles to form solids, liquids and gases.
In our English lessons, we've had a great time creating a fictional class biography all about Darwin Waterson: the world's greatest underwater goldfish spy! We are now at the end of our biography unit and we are writing our final assessment pieces!
This week we had our last music session with Mrs Bishop-we have loved having her in to teach us music. We can now all play a tune on the recorder - write and read music!
We are continuing to learn about Antarctica and we have two class pets - Fluffy and Puffy the Penguins! Did you know: millions of penguins live in Antarctica? We learnt how penguins can keep themselves warm or cool and where penguins are found in the world. Photos of Fluffy and Puffy below...
