with a Resource Base for Hearing Impaired Children

“Excelling Through Enjoyment”

Headteacher's Welcome

At Mildmay Junior School, it is our intention to live up to the school motto and ensure that everyone is 'Excelling through Enjoyment'. Pupils, staff, governors and parents all endeavour to do our best and we strive to ensure that every child can make progress and reach their potential.

Our broad and busy curriculum reflects the changing world around us as we prepare our pupils to be 'secondary ready' and to be successful beyond the years of their education. We offer a wide range of opportunities and provide high quality learning experiences in school and beyond. Children are encouraged to take roles of responsibility, form and present their own opinions and offer support to one another throughout the school. Trips, visits, teams, competitions, guest speakers and other events all serve to enhance the learning experience for all the children.

We encourage the development of outside interests to be shared within school, so that we can all celebrate every child's success, while also bringing in members of the wider community to share in and contribute to the happy and welcoming community that is Mildmay Junior School.

Prospective pupils and their parents are encouraged to visit and see for themselves the happy and hard-working community of the school.

We are all very proud of the children and our school. We very much hope that you feel the same.

Dominic Mulholland
