Uniform Update

Mildmay Junior School is completely understanding of the financial pressures that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to many families. We also recognise that many families are about to purchase or replenish school uniform for September. In respect of these considerations, we have amended our uniform listing on the website accordingly.

While it is our preference that the logo jumper/cardigan and PE top are worn, it is perfectly acceptable for a plain alternative in the correct colour (royal blue jumper/cardigan, red PE top) to be worn as an alternative.

All other ‘logo’ items on the One-stop list are entirely optional – so there is no need to purchase a fleece, book bag, cap or any other logo-bearing item unless you want to. This leaves the school tie as the only specific compulsory item in the list.

We hope that this decision makes sense and helps in these testing circumstances.

Kind regards,

D Mulholland
