Virtual Sports Day - 6th to 10th July, 2020
As you know, the annual 'Mildmay Junior School Sports Day' is a highlight of our summer and we're desperately sad that it can't go ahead this year. It's always such fun to have so many parents come and see the races and cheer their children, but the lock down and 'social distancing' mean it is just not a possibility in 2020.
But never mind - Mrs Smith has devoted her energy to devising a way we can all take part in a VIRTUAL SPORTS DAY next week. Take a look at the 'Home Learning' page and find the new sub-page for 'Virtual sports Day'
to find out how you can all take part, score points and represent your HOUSE in a collective effort to win the first (and hopefully only) VIRTUAL SPORTS DAY CUP!
The instructions will all be in the information, including how to submit your scores for counting in the House competition. we'd also LOVE IT if you could send a photo or two of your participating in and enjoying the sports activities so we can create a virtual 'sports day gallery' for everyone to view.
So get your sportswear on, dust off your trainers, eat a high energy breakfast, and score as many points as you can for your house. Go DIPPER, BITTERN, HERON and KINGFISHER!!!
